Job Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Partner with senior management to design and implement HR strategies for Southeast Asia, aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research on local labor laws, talent pools, compensation benchmarks, and best practices.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures compliant with local regulations and aligned with company culture.
- Implement performance management systems, talent development programs, and succession planning.
Headcount Planning and Recruitment:
- Assess workforce requirements based on expansion plans and operational needs.
- Design and execute recruitment strategies targeting local and expatriate talent.
- Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee relations in compliance with local laws.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
- Ensure compliance with expatriate work permits and local labor laws.
- Deliver HR training programs for employees and managers.
Cultural Integration:
- Foster an inclusive work environment that bridges company culture with local customs.
- Promote cultural exchange and collaboration between headquarters and regional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in Southeast Asia or international markets.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR practices.
- Proficient in Chinese and English; fluency in Southeast Asian languages is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
